Would these LED's fit a Tamora for brake lights?

I notice a lot of more modern sports cars now have LED lights, and I think it would make a decent upgrade, but would these fit (the fixings look very similar), and would there be a lot of faffing with wires for them to work?

I was thinking about changing mine. They will fit but you also need the resistor thingies to make the indicators work if you are changing those to match the LED lights.http://www.s-v-c.co.uk/product/ultrabright-inner-l...

So they're not as simple as take old ones out, put new ones in, then - a lot more is involved?
They are stuck in the holes, if you push them hard enough they just pop out. You would need to modify the loom by cutting the bulb holder off and wiring pin connectors in its place.So they're not as simple as take old ones out, put new ones in, then - a lot more is involved?

Yup, that's why I suggest you chat with Brendan or Richard at Concept.
They have taken the v1/v2 of the lights that DonG and I had and produced a v3
with input from myself and Don.
These are proper PCB units and have been fitted to one car already (although
they have been tweaked since).

For brake, tail, fog and reverse lights it's easy to just swap them over as the TVR has no CAN bus or bulb warning systems. Only thing you'd need is a resistor if you're doing the blinkers too (otherwise they'll flash fast as if a bulb is out. SVC sell the resistors in a kit with the indicators, or so do maplin etc.

Have you got the link to the Maplin kit? never got round to actually doing mine yet. I think the Kit SVC wanted was £15 if you purchased it with the lightsshep1001 said:

Have you got the link to the Maplin kit? never got round to actually doing mine yet. I think the Kit SVC wanted was £15 if you purchased it with the lightsTBH, I never thought about doing the indicators, too, but just the brake lights - but I get getting them all done at once make more sense, as they'd then look like they all belong, rather than an 'ad-hoc' job.
You'll need a 20W 6Ohm resistor for each of the indicators (side repeators don't need them) wired in parallel. It will generate some heat so you'll need to mount it in a way that allows it to be hot and not melt anything around it.

If swapping the bulbs you may need to swap over the spade connectors so the positive and negative are the right way round.

I've tried just replacing existing lamps with leds but didn't like the effect. Had a quote from Brendan for his but then changed my mind. Still trying to find something I really like. SVC units look quit nice in the pics, not seen them in the flesh though.
