Chris, I have never seen that SP headlamp conversion, cant make my mind up, any more pics?
I didn't think I did, then I found this!

I liked that a lot as the headlight cover wasn't changed.

Yes, they did quite a few subtle mods for the Tam.

It was SP's own Tamora, not sure who has it now, though.

It is a shame they're no longer around. I think that part of the problem with these SP mods all those years ago was down to Tam owners not wanting to change what was then a new/nearly new car that was still in production.

Today however, I am sure they'd make a (relative) killing, as the mods were all pretty tasteful.

ETA - I am sure that a lot of these cars are better fettled and more sorted now, compared to 10 years ago. A lot I see look better than brand new!

Thanks to Shep1001, I now have my shopping basket almost full for the rear lights. Just want to double check before ordering, is this correct for the reverse light?

http://www.s-v-c.co.uk/product/ultrabright-inner-l...

ETA - Have ordered them all anyway - apart from the orange front indicators, as I'm not even gonna try to get in there! (ordered the clear with orange light for the rear)

Ordered all necessary tools from Amazon too - wire strippers, crimping tool, and connectors (and heat shrink sleeving, not sure if I need that though...)- hope I have it all covered.....

All I need now is Shep1001 to come and help! lol (kidding..)

Yes, that's the correct light. If you get stuck you can give me a call and I can talk you through it. My lights arrived today but I am not back in the U.K. till Wednesday - booooo!

A dremmel is us full too to remove all the old bonding material so the lights fit properly.. Also don't forget the relay or the resistors to correct the flash rate

Cheers Andy. I'm OK with my Dremel, so that won't be a problem. I actually purchased the resistors together with the indicator LED's, I assume they're the correct ones?

I'm sure what was done once can be done again. You just need the pictures to remodel it and someone who knows what they are doing.

The ones who could probably do it are S&D and Concept Performance. I'm sure there are others floating around, but those are the two I would approach first.

Although S&D are more reluctant to do out of the box, experimental stuff in my experience, but they should be happy to tackle this as long as they have good pictures etc.

CP, well, let's does say, they do unusual stuff all the time biggrin

Oh, there is Plasticman (Dave) as well of course, but I think you would need to get someone else to "finish it off" so to speak, painting etc.

I have looked through all of my pics from the various meets (circa 2005/06), and what I have posted are the only pics I have of the front of that SP Tamora. frown

I have blown up one of the original pics, but there's a lot of reflection:

Oh, and this was its interior:

I've improved them slightly...

Next time I talk to Brendan I can see what his thoughts are if anyone is seriously interested.
