Hi Jenny,
That is not great. Did the raceproved one not end up with you? Send me a email if easier or give me a bell.

This car is my old car which got stranded in the factory in 2006. It was indeed one of the last Sagaris. There was huge sentimental value for me to this Sagaris because of everything i went through to try and locate it and also as my late father has signed the body.
I tried to buy it on numerous occasions from Racing Green but for some unknown reason they overlooked me both times when their previous 'buyers' pulled out, even though i was apparently first on the reserve list. I wouldn't even waste my time trying again. It was all very disappointing especially considering they knew i was a serious customer as i had previously had my Sagaris serviced there.

Hi Paul, no raceproved were worse. I traveled over after being promised the shell and chassis and to finalise spec. After the trip which obviously was not cheap, Russell disappeared off the face of the earth. Eventually he got someone else to ring me to try and talk the deal through but in the end it fell through after many months of wasting my time. Ill send you a pm.That is not great. I had a similar experience at the time with RP as well, but got things sorted in the end.Funky said:
It was a shame as i have seen the work on Alex's car and they had done some really great stuff. I was very much looking forward to working with them.
I'm still happy to work with Russ, but I think he has focused on other things these days.Brendan has of course now setup on his own and has my car. I've visited it a couple of times, so I know it is moving along
I was one of the customers who paid a deposit for the car in 2011 and agreed to pay a cash price £70k for her upon completion with the option to trade in my Sag for £40k. I was told that I would be very involved with the fitting out process having agreed the fullest spec imaginable. I sent in excess of 30 emails and received very few replies. Things I was told had been done, had not. I would phone up and they would tell me it's in the workshop being worked on and I was assured I would have the car in September 2012, then January 2013. I was then told it would be ready by Easter and so I told them of the trim finish, tyres and a few other bits. I also said that I would be paying in cash and hanging on to my Sag. They wouldn't proceed because they insisted I now had to trade mine in. At that point all trust and confidence was lost and so they eagerly sent me the deposit back. I was given the run around for two years and so I hope the next purchaser has a better experience.
First I should say I have had no dealings with RG other than buying 2 small parts, which cost what I was told, were what I had asked for, and were delivered to the right place at the right time…
Two pennenth -I'm surprised that anyone can price a car when the level of finish is still to be determined – other than assuming a very high specification, so POA is probably the correct way to advertise the sale.
If they get a figure close to the 76K they initially asked it would seem reasonable, especially in light of folk asking and seeming to be getting 55K for 30-40K mile models and newer or very low mileage cars selling for over 60K?
Folk that are looking to buy will always complain, those owning or looking to sell should be happy that prices are going up and not down – surely??

That sounds truly appalling - this is from a company that has raised the "asking" price by nearly £20k in a matter of weeks. Are RG to UK outlet for Target?TVRMs said:

That's really the point, everything pretty much had been specified except trim colour and tyre preference. £70k was absolute all inc OTR figure. If it was just an option to pex, looks like they are being greedy and I would be equally upset.
