From experience when I was looking last year, you will find most are with the dealers on a SOR basis, with the owners trying to maximise their return and prepared to wait until someone offers £50K+ however long it takes.

As fantastic as the Sags are, I still believe there are only so many people that (A) can afford One..
(B) are prepared to spend spend £55K plus for one, Whilst I appreciate they are the flagship TVR and I really loved owning mine for the 2+ years I had it.. Its just that £55-£60K is taking you into a territory of other serious motors, Or a T350 with a 4.3 or a Tusc S and £30k (ish) change!! I think the market place for £35-£40K cars is quite different to the market place of £55K+ cars, Just my opinion and I may be totally wrong.

Seems to me that the number of cars for sale has been static for the last couple of years. Some sell and are replaced by others for sale. Others stay for sale for a bit longer, especially if "ordinary"/"normal" and at the upper end of the price range - after all, owners can still enjoy them while waiting for someone to bite at a good price. Those with a 4.3 or 4.5 or something special about them sell faster, even at the upper end of the range.
