I am looking into getting front 330mm bells, rotors and spacers for my T350t. I have spoken to Reyland in Birmingham who will (all being well) sell them for about £500 inc VAT a pair. I know there are other suppliers (Powers, Brummie et all), but I am just looking at options. If I go ahead and commit to purchase he will measure up my set-up and make up an additional 5 or 10 sets and just put them on the shelf. An interesting note is that Reyland machine their discs from a raw casting and have a number of groove patterns that can be applied. However, they will NOT cross drill. If you have plain discs for any car, he will even machine grooves in them for £60 a pair. If any one is interested let me know. At least I can give him an idea of the level of interest. Check out their website for more info.

I investigated something similar with Reyland ages ago - it never got off the ground.

Although rotors and alloy bells would be nice, I'd say just buy Brummie's discs instead. Already grooved, decent quality, far cheaper, and you won't be waiting for months and months before finally giving up... wink

What difficulties did you experience in getting the project off the ground?

Just couldn't get Martin to commit to a date. Or reply to emails or calls, for that matter.

(Disappointing in particular because I work in his industry and previously dealt directly with him several times.)

I am not sure about the caliper bolts, but yes to everything else (bells, rotors, AP disc to bell bolts and spacers). He directed me to the Renault Megane page on their website as an example of what would be supplied.

Do you need someone who can manufacture them?

AP manuactured some alloy bells and grooved 330mm rotors for my 3000M. They took a while but appear to be excellent quality. Rotors came satin powder coated, bolts supplied - close to £500 per pair if memory serves?

just fitted a pair of 330mm one piece disks from CL Braking in Birmingham. Fitted with Hi-spec 6 pots caliper, coming down from 360mm disks due to warped discs after being skimmed on the car twice. Supplied with spacers for standard AP calipers as fitted to my T350 as standard.

Sadly mine were not an easy fit as the Hispec caliper has an odd spacer the changes the offset, but half an hour on a milling machine had that sorted. Using standard setup looks to be a simple fit as caliper mounting spacers and bolts are included for £330 all in.

Owner Paul, fellow TVR owner and throughly nice bloke, stated the following after I raised the point about possible bell issues

Quote: You are right about the bell set ups going out of true, we have a Mazda LS3 that has had more discs than I dinners, and we adapted a kit, and so far so good.

Saw said Mazda on collecting the kit and look very well used. Now fitted to the T350 this weekend noticeable difference in having no brake judder and better turn in with smaller disks, I have to say this was well overdue. they also do a very broad range of stock pads and plan to release a one piece rear in the coming weeks.

No business interest whatsoever and contact details are Paul Chance <sales@clbraking.co.uk> Worth a try if you want bigger disks without the bells and look the part too.
