.....despite you trying to talk it down.....
Just being honest, I'm not a fan of GG dampers, S6 clutches can be a bugger, and it needed a big service, no air con,As I said before I thought the colour was fantastic and it looked great.
Congrats to the new owner he still got a bargain IMHO

I would have thought the price was about right. All those Sags at 55k plus are overpriced AND they don't seem to be selling.
I don't have an axe to grind about Sag prices as I am a Sag owner myself.
At last, someone that talks a lot of sense, most of them just overpriced and people are looking at other makes.. IE,,, GTR's, F type Jags, R8s ect ect, don't get me wrong I LOVE THE SAGGY, but the bubble has burst for average car's......................I don't have an axe to grind about Sag prices as I am a Sag owner myself.

Interesting, reduced to a reasonable price and 3 days later it's sold...
Well isn't that the story... the Sagaris and Griffith classifieds sections contain a disproportionate number of cars compared to the numbers out there, whilst it's the other way round for Cerberas and Chimaeras.Sagaris/Griffith owner - 'Well, if I can fetch that much for it, why not?'
Cerbera/Chimaera owner - 'Well, if it's only worth £ xxxx I'd just as well hang on to it...'
I'd say the current price benchmarks will need correction sooner or later...

I agree it won't be long till we see 3 grand Chims But seriously
No air con with that colour, guessing 3k for air con to be fitted,
Most Sag owners wouldn't entertain GG dampers, so 1.5k for OE or Nitrons fitted,
Needs a big service so 1k if lucky,
Maybe Clutch, stone chips sorting,
What else might turn up on service, engine mounts, cv boots etc
Add it all up and it's still a 50 k + car

Not sure who's your favorite TVR garage, but in Germany we don't pay prices like those you mentioned.
I'll estimate appr. 4.500.-GBP, but then you have a new aircon, new clutch, new dampers and fully serviced and still 2,5k.- GBP left for a rebuilt to reach the 50k area...
6-7 GBP done correctly with OE parts in the uk.Not sure who's your favorite TVR garage, but in Germany we don't pay prices like those you mentioned.
