Hi,

First of all - I'm afraid this is just a personal project so no money (other than a beer or two) on offer. I'm looking for a car to photograph in a scene around Shad Thames by Tower Bridge within the next week - I could use my Cerbera but really I want something as 'futuristic' as possible. Has to be a Tivver though - of course. It's for a photograph to be in an exhibition in this years London Festival of Architecture - exhibition opens on 12th June though, so I need to get on with this pretty quickly....

Anyone live close to Shad Thames, or fancy a reason to drive down here?

Cheers

Joe

woohoo! yes, ideal - and feel free to offer advice, I'm an architectural photographer so cars are a bit of a new one for me...Timing I can fit around you, my office is on Shad Thames so I'm here all the time - it gets kinda busy around here though, and access onto parts of Shad Thames we may want to use is 8am - 11am weekdays and 9am - 11am on weekends so it looks like mornings would be easier. Let me know what suits you.

Cheers

My stuff here... www.kamphotography.co.uk

One thing I can tell you is that photographing cars in London is a right pain in the arse. You constantly get moved on by security, have public butting in and find that you are in someone's way... but happy to discuss your plan and what the brief is.

6am on a Sunday morning really is the best time shoot cars in London. I could get the Tiv valeted on Saturday.

Very nice! No need to valet, external shots only and in fact the dirtier the car is the better - I'll PM you what I have in mind.

Thanks again, and looking forward to meeting you & car

TVR Tunnel run is on 22nd June... Will be lots of TVRs in Central london. Could be an idea to see if you can meet up with an owner after the run? Maybe even get a few down there?

I would like to bring my Sagaris down, but my Sag making an appearance is like the second coming of Zarquon, so don't hold your breath biggrin

Given this post is nearly a year old Alex, I suspect he's given up waiting on your Sag.... wink

That's alright. Zarquon only returned just before the end of the Universe, so my timing on the Sag should be fine as well biggrin
