Stuff.

Btw no oner ever talks about anti roll bar tweaks on tvrs, on the s2000 theres as much talk about them as shocks, why is that?
Cheers

Agree wholly with all the above.

Funny enough after participating in my second sprint on Thursday and taking the guy who has the fastest TVR time by far, (Tuscan owner) as a passenger it was interesting to hear his comments.

He thought that even with my 500/400 spring set up he thought I needed a stiffer front ARB as the car rolled too much and I was loosing grip, (could be the 400 ft lbs of torque

Checking my ARB on the chim, it's quite puny and apparently there are stiffer ones available.

I'm 100% sure that this wouldn't improve ride quality but may improve my times!

Bit O/T really..........
Yeah its a bit OT, I'm by the pool in Greece having a couple of evening beers after frying in the sun all day... my contradictions is a side effect, I'll cringe in the morning biggrin

I also wonder if this is heading away from road setups that could do the odd track day.
The extreme track set up would involve about 800/500lb springs and revalved shocks with sticky tyres, maybe even radial slicks but this would end up being a Dunlop challenge car.

That's the spring set up I run on my 800kg 3000M racer which has a 32mm front ARB.

Tamora would be on stiffer rears for a track set-up with its almost near front mid-engined configuration. I know folk who have played with stiffer rears than fronts on road Tuscans and seemed quite happy.

If anyone's interested I will have the protech double adjusts on my stand at ettington in a couple of weeks .. you can try them out on my demo rig. I can also explain why some dampers feel the way they do eg harsh ride on some dampers whilst appearing too soft in other situations. Come over for a chat.

I might be there with my Gaz Gold Pros on, as they are the only dampers i own.....hehe

Now where's Glasgow, Warwickshire.....? I've found Hollywood, Worcestershire, is Glasgow anywhere nearby?

Bring your Nitrons with you Peter - one of those wealthy medallion-wearing, wheelbarrow-driving types might relieve you of them for a fair price. Will save you the trouble of changing them over twice a week....

Seriously, how about a free winter service on the monos in return for taking a few customers out for a ride?
Save me bringing a car on a trailer !!!
