Hope somebody might be able to help in Italy at the moment but locked the car up earlier today (T350) all fine then a large thunder storm car will no longer unlock have got in through the back but if doors are shut again they just lock again appears that the fob is not being recognised have tried the spare still the same and no visible signs of any water ingress. Any pointers/suggestion's much appreciated

Its just rained so check control box cubby hole in passenger footwell, there may be a puddle under the boxes. If you have sealant, get busy on the 2 bulk head grommets, and check the little rubber ribbed nipple at the base of the cable release cable (under the bonnet) it may be rotten and letting water in through the cable tube... water runs down it the through grommet under center of dash (pass footwell), then under and onto drivers side then fuse box...

Also possibly a stuck central locking button. I had this problem shortly after getting the car, GF pressed said button instead of door release and that was that, there was me stuck in a petrol station panic posting to here to get get the secret to getting back in.
Fixed it by stripping the button assembly (its odd size nut holding it on, otherwise very simple), then putting it back together and wd40 on the button... odly the external button appeared to click normally before I even stripped it so I guess it only needed a good direct clickin session directly on the pcb button... it worked immediately after that... but those small odd nuts... ffs I bled getting them out with needle nose pliers... I have tons of small nut tools but none of them fit!

I've had similar problems. Came back from a run out and couldn't get back into the car.
Exterior buttons don't work.
Gained entrance to car. Buttons don't work from the inside. However with the keys in the ignition and in the start position they do.
Car also won't start. Can't hear the fuel pump.

Tried resetting/checking all the fuses and relays. Changed the battery for a fully charged one.

Still no joy. I'm thinking it's an immobiliser issue. Any ideas ?

Just an update for anyone doing searches in future.
Located the meta alarm box in the passenger footwell. Pulled and re-seated the cables. Whilst doing this tipped the box upside down. Water dribbled out.
Whilst the alarm box was unplugged. I tried the immobiliser reset by the wing mirror with the keyring black insert. Immobiliser worked and the car started.
Undid the screws, pulled out the pcb board. Corroded contacts. Sprayed and cleaned with electrical contact cleaner and left to dry overnight. Re-assembled and all working now.
