Thanks for the jack suggestions. I'd already had a quick look at the options but I think I'll hold fire for a while longer before splashing out as I don't often work on cars due my garage being quite small.

Bear in mind that shimming to angle the seat away from the 'cage' will tilt the seat and affect your seating/driving position slightly. My back is way better since removing some washers to tilt the seat back harder against the cage and putting a tiny bit of lube where the rub is; silicone or similar, not engine oil,smile.
Interesting. I've got some silicon lubricant and will give it a go before I look into shimming.

Yours looks too low.
That's what I was told as well when my suspension was refreshed and geo'd.

Bloody springs settled all over the place though and it's taking forever to get the clearances consistent again. Get someone to adjust it and enjoy the sunshine I say!
