If you press the button to release the passenger door, you get nothing. Its not the "lock" button,i`ve tried that and it works on the boot and drivers side door. The passenger electric window only goes down 3/4 also.
I`m not sure if its two separate problems or they are related.
What would you check first?
Thanks Tony

Does the door open from the inside? i.e. fire the solenoid. If yes look at the mirror switch (its a simple push to make switch), if not then maybe swap the door ECU's over and try again and see if the fault moves sides. The window has an encoder thingy bob on it so this issue may be separate

Does it work if you lower the window as far as it will go first? Is it just that the window has lost its position and thinks that it's still closed and won't pop the door?

I haven't had trouble of this nature before but I suspect the door control unit is involved - someone will be along to tell you how to reset it.

Door opens from inside no problem. Suspect the button, but not sure how to access it?

The door ECUS are they in the passenger footwell or under the centre console?

ECU's are in each footwell, the drivers side maybe behind rather than in front of the dash ECU. You need to pop the mirror glass out to get to the switch

Worth checking the plug and socket in the door itself, where the mirror connects to the door loom.
