I was checking my new lights for the first time tonight, LED's for the round lights, and HID's for the main beams.

They all look great, except for the yellowy light emitting from the small front fogs - they look like a relic from a bygone era!

Is there anything I can do about these - I think the aperture is a tad too small for the standard size LED's?

Cheers smile

(Scares me how much I love this car at times....)

Think the fog lights are H1 bulbs or similar (?). You can get LED replacements, probably give you a crap fog light, but it will be the same colour as your other, white, LEDs??

See here: http://www.autobulbsdirect.co.uk/LED-Foglight-bulb...

HTHs?

Cheers.

Would this be OK?

I have looked in my owners handbook, and all it says about the fog light is that it's 21W.

Not something I've not touched/played with - So not sure............my car is sat with TVR Power having a starter motor changed!!!

Give Racetech Direct a ring? Their advert here: http://www.racetechdirect.co.uk/m1680-tvr-car-part...

It shows a box for the bulb, H1 or H3?? No-one seems to list it - I'm sure the original must be halogen in a Hella fog lamp??

Sorry, dunno?

Cheers

I changed mine but I am away until tomorrow so can't look up which will fit. Had an interesting time fitting them too. Swore more than once! Easiest thing to do is take the light out to put the bulb in I found

If it's too much of a hassle, I may leave it, going on my past forays on improvements...

It's just awkward as you have to work 'blind' through the bung holes to clip the bulbs in unless you take the lamp out
