If trimming is done it must be nearly time to buy a new car

Still a few fettles to be done but it's a good car

Very nice. I know these retrims cost some big £££ but look at the results.
tim. I did a lot of the prep and stripping which saved money. Dave will work with you. It's not been as expensive as some costs I've seen quoted , and I'm very happy with the work, which is the most important thing QBee said:
That's one of the rare side-mounted V8s - well impressed. I've been in that car and it certainly shifts
It'll be better once I've had the final mapping done. The Tvr fuel pumps went lean so we capped revs at 5000 till I got them replaced with uprated pumps, I've done that now so I can get the rev limit lifted and we can get the last 1500 revs back to 6500. It'll rev more but no need with the cam I have. SteveSPG said:

I still need to come over and see you/your car at some point. You're not far from me and I would love to see this car in the flesh. I saw your last one at Sportmotive when it went in for some paint (I think it was paint) and that looked good be this one looks even better.GTRene said:
I guess a Tamora drives 'better' then a Griffith? mostly because the different/better chassis or is there more?
It's subjective , but I just prefer the way it drives. I find it more direct and it feels less of a handful in the twisties. Tam geo is stock other than nitrons and sp12 with r1rEdited by SteveSPG on Thursday 4th September 07:00
i got a little fed up with wires for sat nav and chargers running over the radio face etc, so fibreglassed a mount for a charger in the glovebox before it was re flocked.
I've still to put a slotted hole grommet in the hole for the white wire to the radio of the iPod to pass through, so now the all that gubbins (iPod, phone etc) that regularly used to spill out of the lower dash tray onto my feet can be kept and charged in the glovebox.
