Looks fantastic, but how does it hold up to the usual stone chip problem TVR's suffer from? Assuming the body work needs to be perfect or any imperfections will show like in paint?

Ever had any issues with accidental snags/peel that means the whole panel needs to be pulled off?
Well its rubber, so stone chips don't really happen. obviously big stones will damage it though.
as for repairs it couldn't be easier! stick your finger in some dip, and smooth over damage to seal it back down. once feels smooth, blow over with a few coats and repaired, you wouldnt even know damaged. big damage and yes, redo panel.
it will hide stonechips, wont make them disappear, but definitely look better

Thanks, Alan. Do you offer it as a service? If so would you please PM me with a quote for a Cerbera.

Thanks. J

yes i offer as a service as well as the diy kits. price depends on colour you wanna go to, as the chameleons are a bit more expensive. let me know what it is now and what you wanna achieve and we can work it out.
im possibly looking at this next for mine lol. a nice orange - gold/yellow chameleon

Well mine wont be white for long lol. Will be changing soon. Going to try the red-orang/gold chameleon on it I think soon. So you should be ok with your white for a bit.
But, I then think and I got some really good new purple and blue to try out. Hmmmm...

It's finally started. Hopefully I have perfected the Cascade Indigo..... Not sure till I try it though on a full car, so might as well be the one I want it on! Looks good on speed shapes, but won't get the full effect till finished. So as usual for chameleons, black base first. That's how far I got yesterday, as it's so cold, it takes an age to flash off between coats.
Still having trouble with n/s mirror. Bolt 100% seized in and cannot get it out. Seems a previous owner strugglerd too as the hex is now round (before I attempted!). So, mirror in the way of access and can't get mirror off to get access.... catch 22.

Anyway, so far;

Quite like it matte black actually smile

Gonna leave the front and rear splitters black. If I think looks crap, I can remove again and colour them if needed.

Quick look at it. Should all be done and back on its wheels tomorrow. Constant stream of customers kept progress slow today. Should look good though. Seems to be fairly close to Cascade Indigo smile

Woe, go away for a couple hours and mayhem! lol

Ok, this vid is a crappy chunky vid. The car isn't finished yet.

No flatting, polishing, colour sanding or anything. It is what it is. And that is rubber. It's not paint, never will be and not trying to be. It is a coating that protects your car, just happens if you play around with the stuff you can change the colour of it too smile
There are NO formula's, no colour codes or anything, its just a gigantic experiment and fun. I love the stuff. But unlike paint it is removable and leaves no trace of it behind without using a single piece of sandpaper. I took it back to original colour before re-coating it in about 2 1/2 hours.

So tomorrow once dried and cured, I will peel from lights, windows, refit mirror and drop back onto wheels. Then when I pull it outside I will do a decent quality vid.

Now for the record, chameleons do not react to light. This is why you do a black base, as the pigments allow some light through and the black absorbs it and doesn't return the light. This gives it the colours you see. Completely the opposite to candies. Which go over a silver (sometimes gold) base. The light goes through the pigment and reflects off the silver through the colour. That is why they look so nice as gives them a kinda backlit look. Easiest way I can explain it. Whereas chameleons absorb.
So the Cascade Indigo on the TVR's do all this, but you also get a reflection from the lacquer, this gives it a different look, but that is just a reflection. So if you park next to something red, then everything that side has a redder tinge because of the reflection etc.. These are a semi matt finish (satin I guess) so will have a different look. BUT the purple to blue to mauve to red to gold to orange to yellow will still be there. It's NOT cascade indigo, but my version of it. It has the characteristics of it when you look at it ie gold on top, purple on sides, move around and all sides are gold but front corner is blue / purple. So in that respect its cascade indigo. I guess we will see tomorrow once out in the real world smile

This is not for the purists or bufty boys, but as protection its awesome. I truly love this stuff, I am experimenting with some new non plastidip from USA and its even better.

It will prob still be on for the next meet so you can see in the flesh anyways. Got so many colours and experiments I wanna try out smile

Well, its all done. Not 100% happy yet. Think put 2x too many coats on as it has gone more to the orange/yellow side as opposed to the purple/blue. The full range still there but a bit top heavy and light. Too much on there and not enough black left to absorb the light. Few coats earlier was perfect, but its difficult to judge until its dried and cured. Kinda needs to be see through. If you look closely, you should see black speccles or the black visible, this has hardly no black visible now.

Still I'm happy and will drive it around for a while till I need to try another colour smile
