Hi Chaps

Thinking of coming back to TVR, finally got the rally bug out of me [ 99% sure!! ] but need some motorsport in my life, so another TVR for hillclimbs driven to and from events is on my possible shopping list.

Anyone know this car, http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/t... ?

TBH I would rather have a Targa top version, but it does appear to be a better starting base to modify up to what I would like.

Ta in advance for any help.

cheers
Mark.

Looks like a good one to me as it has Powers 4.3 engine in and you will not go wrong with that and it only has 17000 mikes on it, there should be some warranty left on it as they come with 5 years unlimited miles if serviced at other TVR garages or 100,000 miles no mater how many years if serviced at Powers so you just need to check, you will love the engine streets in front of the old 3.6 sooo much more torque so easier to drive, not up and down the gears like the old one, plus it has Nitrons so should drive nice, only thing I would do is get 330mm discs as the original ones are a bit wooden but that's my opinion, I have a T350 with Powers 4.5 , bigger discs and Gaz Monotubes and its such a nice car to drive, take it out for a test drive you should not be dissapointed

I agree with Billynobrakes - the engine upgrade alone is a major plus point. this is a £10k upgrade, couple this with the better suspension and low miles, it is almost the perfect TVR package.

Snap it up before someone else does - it's not often 4.3 engine upgraded cars come on the market.

Hasn't that car been for sale for a long time? (there might have been a similar looking car at the same place in the past 12 months?). I would wonder why and ask.

The one you're thinking of was Dunhill silver IIRC

It was definately for sale in April/May when I was looking for one. Didn't go look at it because it was out of my price range.
