Ever since I've owned my Tamora (2012) there's been an annoying rattle coming from some where in the front section of the car,so the usual search to find the holy grail began. I've had friends in, crawled all over the engine bay. I even checked the mounting of the horns they were corroded so made new up mounts and replaced ...it didn't have any affect on the rattle!

Last weekend I resited my Anderson connector inside the passenger side area and when I took the side panels off that covers the windscreen roll bar I knocked the door control unit I thought I recognise that noise. The controller was rattling against the glass fibre of the inner body so basically I secured it to the body work with Velcro pads on both side and hey presto eradicated! 2years of annoyance gone thanks to a relocationsmile

So I guess if you have a rattle in the front of the car is to check the door controllers, it may well save you hours of hunting & frustration....

The ariel taps in the wing as well when you go over bumps if the rivet that holds the bracket to the body wears

Thanks Andy I'll have a look at that before it goes off for its new paint job I'm also looking at the shark fin Aerial for the sat nav when the new unit it goes in. I'm planning on mounting it on the drop down part of the hood the one in looking at fits nicely with a couple of mm to spare when the rear hood section is in the fully down position.

Buzz,
If its a DAB aerial it will need to be mounted vertically as they are omnidirectional unlike an FM aerial that can be mounted either way

Buzz,
Hi Buzz, please keep me posted on which ICE system you go for, I was going to change mine this year, but the so-called specialist in Sheffield was completely flummoxed by a fibreglass car, so I lost confidence in them, then lost interest in changing it, I'll try again next year somewhere else
Also, what colour are you going for?
Bob
