Not mine and no connection but anyone around the Walsall British Car Auction place tomorrow will see a 2004, Black, 30k mile Tamora go through

Just thought it could be a bargain for someone vs a dealer

I have a feeling that could be my old TVR? I sold it 5 years ago but the guy lived in Aberdeen. Mine was registered in Jan 2004 as is this one and the colour matches. Would be interested to see if anyone has any pictures of it. Mine had black and cream interior, and when I sold it into done about 24,000 miles.

If anyone can HPI it and find out what its previous registrations were that will soon answer the question whether it was mine or not!

The vendor selling is we buy any car . com by the way

Why you'd sell a tvr via that route I've no idea, you defo get more via eBay but you never know individuals circumstances

Pictures now posted on BCA website. Definitely my old TVR. Sold it to a guy in Aberdeen so intrigued as to how it's got back into the midlands. Only 15 miles from its old home!!

Looking at the BCA report the bodywork seems a little neglected. No mention of engine condition though. Could be a potential project at the right price...

Looks like you cherished it Will.
I have fingers crossed to pick up mine tomorrow from a nice chap in Kent. Just an inspector's report to go.

Got stuck at work and never made it ! Would be worried about how it ended up with we buy any car, was it dumped for a reason?
A reasonable risk at that price?

Hi,

I've been looking at this car online and I love the colour combo and was really tempted to go take a look.

What work did it require? What do I need to be aware of?

PM me if you prefer.

Many thanks

Ummm, I was being polite because I assumed a private individual had bought the car; I can't believe a motor trader did. I don't want to be known as somebody who is disrespectful about other people's stock, so I don't want to say anything on here; or pm anybody. Instead suggest you read the bca condition link above; then add a TVR service cost. On the plus side, the car did start up and idle nicely from cold; but was leaking either dirty water or oil as it was driven through the block.

I am still baffled as to why anyone would use WBAC.com Last year I changed my daily drive and for an laugh went on their site. Got the price online (before they knock a percentage off when you turn up at their place in my case a porta cabin on a car park).
Saw the car I wanted at a main dealer and got £1500 more in p/x at the dealership!!
