Its something that I have been pondering for a while, but I have finally come to the decision that Tamora has to go. I have owned since new and enjoyed the car immensely during that time, but in the past couple of years I am just not using it enough to justify keeping it. I have had the Tam for over 9 years and a Chim for several years before that and I have never been a high mileage driver, but in the last 2 years I have completed about 2.5k miles.

Its down to various reasons in my personal life thats preventing me from using it, and I know I will be very sad to see it drive away (could even be tears). But its a heart and head situation and the head has won.

It won't be up for sale straight away, a couple of bits I need to sort out before hand, including a couple of wheel refurbs and I suspect Spring time would be a better time of year anyway, so it will be a few months. Who knows, in that time maybe the heart will fight back...

Don't forget that it is that time of year.

When it is dark, cold and wet I certainly think more about selling. I have a one year old son though, and when he gets older he may not forgive me for selling.

Good idea to wait until springtime either way.

Thats a fair point Steve, but to be honest this isn't a recent thing, I have been pondering on it for 6 months or more.

And Dan - yep will do.

How about booking a spring driving holiday to Spain or Italy. If you want to sell when you return, then it's time to move on!

And there is one of the reasons why I have only done a few miles - that sort of holiday doesn't really interest Mrs LT. We have done one Scotland tour, but I can't seem to persuade her about any more. Nice idea though.

Hi - i am currently seriously thinking of buying a Tamora, so if you are interested in selling soon, can you please let me know? I am new to the TVRCC and looking for a car preferably sooner than later. Cheers, Alan.

Good point, for a younger model perhaps..... as he looks around carefully to see if anyone is looking over his shoulder...

I have the same challenge in getting Mrs D into the TVR as she is an "A-to-B with no stopping" lady. Real shame as when I lived in Madrid, I saw some stunning countryside which Mrs D only flew over !!

Its my 50th this year & all I have asked her for is a week of her time .... wish me luck !

I tried to persuade Mrs Bee to do our summer Euro-tour in the TVR. She said no. We are going in the Eurobox A8.
