Manifolds

I bought some manifolds to get coated and then fit to my Tamora.

They have the smaller M12 bosses for the lambda sensors and I need the M18 size. Before adding the work to my list, does any one know if all the 3.6 exhaust manifolds are the same size and shape. Other than the lambda bosses they 'look' the same.

the m12 lambda bosses are for cars that have the 3 wire sensors, later cars have the 4 wire sensors which are the m18 thread, you can buy m18 bosses on ebay and then cut out the old and weld in the new ones, the manifolds themselves are the same.

Can the M12 bosses be drilled out and tapped M18? Would save cutting off and welding.

I don't think so. I'll buy a couple of M18 ones and compare.

if you are stuck for someone to cut out and weld you can send them over and I`ll do it for you for beer tokens.
