The new dial face looks interesting. I already have a new digital screen and clear plastic fascia in my drawer - a dial face with Tamora 4.3 on it would be pretty cool, I think.

(I would have to get someone to install it all for me, though - I have a history with borking even the most simple jobs on my Tam....)

Chris - wow this will be some car when done, the best Tamora in the country? (Probably had the most cash invested in it).
I need to get mine out more, probably only done 100 miles since September. Have serious considered selling lately ...

Cheers! smile

Although I think I would have a way to go to make it the best - there are quite a few Tamora's out there that have had some superb work and upgrades done.

All I want is for my Tamora to be perfect for me. I sold my first, I won't make that mistake again while I am working..

I haven't used my Tam since about October, too. It's been undercover in the garage, plugged into its battery conditioner life support. As I work from home, the car is mainly on the nice days and driven strictly for fun.

Hey gary, you still enjoying your 4.5 upgrade? Your T-350 must really fly!

Wish I had booked the car in earlier - every day now seems like a year! hehe

Yes I love it, wait till you get yours back then you will know why, she is in body shop having some snagging done and I am getting the backs of the seats sprayed black to match the re-trim and get my bonnet mod tidied up then she is where I want it

You should have listened to me ages ago but never mind it will be worth the wait

When I first bought the car, I did have every intention of having the 4.3 upgrade first. However, the engine was (and still is, TBH) running quite sweet, so I thought I'd sort out that awful cheap and nasty 'Bison' interior and other aesthetic issues first. I had the Nitrons fitted at the same time, and a while after, I had the Quaife LSD fitted and throttle bodies re-bushed at Power.

After the 4.3, I would have spent a lot more on upgrades/getting it right than the initial cost of the car - but I knew this when I bought it, so no big surprise - all part of the fun!

I think I will will have to up the value on my insurance when renewed....

Got this today, ready to go on the rear...

(Although knowing me and my track record, I'll probably mess it up...)

That looks good I must contact them

As far as your insurance goes get Dom to do a valuation for you as you will need for the insurance company

My T350 is valued at £39,999 and has been accepted

Cheers, I'll do that. The Tam is insured for £16k at the moment, I need to sort that out.

That's way too low specially with what you have done to it and once you put the 4.3 you need to up a lot lot more , see what Dom values it at you will be surprised, and yes I know it gets harder with the insurance if you have write it off but you need to be a lot higher than £16k they are going up all the time in value, I need to get Dom to put more on my Griff now it has had an engine rebuild

Definitely agree - Chris make sure you get an agreed value policy, my T350 with it's 4.3 is agreed at 32k which is probably a little low. It's what saved mine from being written off when I had my accident, these cars cost a lot in labour to repair bodywork.

As soon as I get the car back from Power, I will change the insurance policy. I would feel pig sick if anything happened to it and I got back just the £16k max. I am not using the car until I drive it up to Coventry on the 23rd Feb.

My first Tam! I loved that car more than I thought. After I sold it, I never really quite got over it. I felt sick driving my wife's MG to Italy, knowing how great the Tam would have been on those Alpine roads and tunnels.

Lesson learnt!
