Hi Chris,

After doing power checks online the 4.3 punches at the level of the 4.5ajp so with the mods already done thats whats going in my cerb, so very pleased to read your thoughts.

I'll also be converting to electro PAS.

Now I just need a rear lip spoiler for the cerb... very glad to hear you havent found the limit as I cant see why going bigger without traction would ever be usable on the roads (without going into a hedge backwards).

I'll be speaking to Dom at my service this year... No service just a rebuild lol wink
I think you'll love it. I have been driving mine a lot, I just find any excuse to go out in it now! (Although not today, it's pissing down..)

Today was the first time I really opened the taps on my Tamora.

I had a drive by myself today, with no wife next to me screaming once I went over 4k revs.

All I can say at this point is the Tamora is now a lot quicker than my (fairly limited) experience can handle around the twisties. Although, thanks to the new tyres (now scrubbed in) and geo (and maybe diff), I did end up taking a few corners quicker than I felt comfortable with (not realising how fast I was going), but the Tam hung on.

Because I prefer the twisties, I never managed to get above 6k rpm, but once passed 3.5k, it does go ballistic and there is no let up in acceleration. It was like an amusement park ride! Second and third gears do the real damage, each bend arriving much quicker than before in the 3.6, without a doubt.

I loved the drive so much that, when I arrived at the junction to go home, I thought, nah, I want to do that all over again, and I did!

The only fly in the ointment was brake balance - when braking hard, I really had to fight the wheel to keep it in a straight line!

Apart from that, brilliant, and fast enough, even too fast to utilise all the power, for me. I really need to invest in some track days!

Nice one, Jon smile Love that colour! (I actually bought a new screen wash bottle and pump, to help tidy up the engine bay! hehe )

I meant to post the results of my geo up, but had forgotten. No wonder my Tam never felt as planted as my first (It does now!). I had the new tyres and geo done along with the post run-in service:

Was that bad?
