I'm in the process of stripping the Tamora ready for its new paint job. Regarding the seat backs how are they removed? I've taken off the 4 bolts on the rears . It feels like they are attached elsewhere . Any advise would be greatly appriciated.

Cheers Buzz

Buzz I maybe wrong, but are they not bonded to the seats themselves, also I'm told that the strip of plastic sealing the gap between the seat back and the seat is no longer available so be careful when you remove it.

Just about to refit mine, I too presumed that it was just the four cap heads.

You have to unpeel all the leather/vinyl from around the edge, and once that is peeled back , the actual seat foam is glued to the back.
I got a very sharp scraper to separate the foam from the GRP without damaging it.

Haven't yours been painted before? Unless it was done at the factory, they should come apart easier if they have already been apart...

Any more help needed give me a nod...

I painted mine in situ. Unless you are re-trimming its less hassle. Just make sure you mask them up properly so when you gun the paint on it does not pull the tape off.
