Finally a TVR Owner!

Hi all, I've finally (and with a fair amount of help) become a TVR owner. Grew up in Blackpool in the Straight Six era, so always wanted one and could only be a 6 pot!

Big thanks to BobHon for all his help, education and a little persuasion to get a Tam and an equally massive thanks to LaserTam for selling. I think a PH name change might be in order mind you

Very very well looked after Tam which will be getting a lot of road miles over the next few months as will be my only car for a while then will look for a few road trips, can't wait for it! Will also attempt to come to a few meets etc when available, all the TVR people I've met so far have been a really good bunch.

Congrats! I too am hoping to join the "TVR Owners" club in the next couple of weeks (assuming there are no last minute negotiation problems).

Very nice, was a toss up between a Tamora or Tuscan and I opted for the Tuscan, I do miss the V8 from the old Chimaera, but boy the Speed Six is a hell of a motor.

Welcome to the club! My Tam is my only car but only because the train takes the strain during the week. I'm actually taking it into the office tomorrow, the noise should be delightful in an underground car park. Enjoy!

Good to see that you've finally picked it up. Need to keep an eye on the TVR Events forum to get some good outings.

S Club Heaven and the TVR Pre 80's meets are worth dropping into. Both based at Gaydon Heritage, so at least you will know the way there. LOL. Similarly Wedgefest and Griff Growl combo meet is at Stratford, so won't take up too much petrol.

Or the Rusty Nail in Scotland this September might be more of a run out.

Anyway welcome to the dream, I'm sure that you'll enjoy every minute.
