Mine's broken, and the tongue is jammed in.

On a positive note, I've discovered that I'm a mean limbo artist - at least with a jammed seatbelt in a Tamora smile

I'll need a new one, so two questions for the clever and experienced out there;

1. Does anyone know the make/model/part number for me to order one?
2. Has anybody experienced this before, and is there a quick temporary fix so I can drive the car to a workshop?

TIA folks...

They're available on whatever Clever Trevor now re-points you to. My buckle just collapsed through being squeezed between the transmission tunnel and seat. I think that if you do a search you may find just the buckle for sale. I ended up having to buy both reel and buckle, so if anyone needs a new reel...

Replacement is a real pita by the way. The Graham Varley guide is useful but expect to need to buy some replacement screws and nuts for when your WD40 and shock/unlock fails to free the seat fastenings.

I have noticed a couple of cars with nylon belt seat fastenings for the buckle. May be weaker but won't be squeezed between the seat and tunnel.

I've got one if you want it? - didn't work with the new Sparcos I've fitted. PM me if you do (postage only). Technically I've got two but the garage filing system seems to have temporarily failed...

Appreciate you might not fancy used seatbelt components - in which case Ford is your friend. For my new seats, a MK1 C-Max was the answer - nice steel "wand" and no pyrotechnics etc.
