Sagaris bonnet locks
Discussion
I'm getting the petal plates you lock into made up, should have some in a few weeks.
Improve locking by filing out a groove in the back of them and adding tap washers from b&q to the other side of the pin to create resistance and job done
In terms of alternatives my mate has them on a Cerbera, push and click. Simple mod but need diameter correct on Sag given existing lock.

Here's some larger diameter ones 44mm which may do the trick.

I used these when one of my pins broke. http://www.europaspares.com/flush-fit-keyed-bonnet...
Took the old ones out and popped these in. Went straight in the same hole and fitted the existing mechanism. No modification. That is not to say they will fit your Sag....as you know no two are the same. For £16 worth a shot.

mk1fan, I was trying to find a solution which didn't need the bonnet modifying.
JLF, I've bought a set you linked to. The fact they're a proper lock and can't turn without the key will stop them coming undone on their own. Only problem is the body diameter is a little larger than the original lock so they don't fit through the hole in the bonnet so that'll have to be increased slightly. Same with the chrome disc on top of the bonnet. I'll get there eventually.

I used the old chrome disk on my car however the hole needed to be widened very slightly which I did with the trusty Dremel. On the bonnet they fitted but were very tight. If needed I could have widened the hole in the bonnet to make the fit a little less tight and saved some time.....not a big issue as it would have only been a couple of mm. Not a great pic but shows the fixing.
