Any clearance issues for those that have taken this route before? Always done Calais when heading over to the alps etc but heading to south of France this time... driving

Used this route earlier this year with no issues along with a Chimaera and Tamora. The loading staff actually watched you to ensure you didn't ground on the ramps, very helpful. Approach the ramps at an angle this will help not grounding. Enjoy your trip.

Also did it this year, no problems in the Sagaris either

Thanks guys, reassuring to know. I guess a Tamora and a Sag have less clearance at the front than a T350 so should be no problems smile

Oh one other question, did you lock the car normally or just leave it unlocked and unarmed to avoid the alarm going off?

I have tried holding the alarm fob for longer and get the 3 flashes but it doesn't seem to lock the doors. Best I have got so far is to use the exterior lock button inside but this doesn't lock the drivers door, just the hatch and passenger door...

So with any ferry what do people generally do? Lock and set the alarm or leave it unlocked/unarmed?
