As John snow said (for those thrones fans..) Winters coming. Anyone got any hints tips for winter storage. I was looking at an indoor cover plus a charger (CTEK MXS 3.8). Best value cover was from cover your car saw some really good ones but were really expensive (auto pyjamas) any hints tips welcome.

My tip is ... don't store it, drive it!

When I say store... I mean if there is snow on the ground for a month or so.. But I will be driving on good days.

I don't do much with mine, other than put the roof up, turn on the trickle charger, and put some Marine 16 Fuel Stabliser in the (full) fuel tank.

Then I put her jim jams (car cover) on and make sure the central heating is on - keeps us both warm and cosy! The garage has a CH radiator, rather than the Tam being in the lounge, in case you were wondering.

My advise would be.
Tank filled, tyres over-inflated to prevent flat spot. Don't start the engine until you intend to use it. IMO a good coat of wax rather than a cover.
Make sure that discs aren't wet when you put in in the garage (binding when you come to use it).

I always leave the handbrake off and put chocks under the rear wheels if I know I'm not going to use the car for a week or so.

Handbrake off.
Ctek charger on cold weather mode.
Dehumidifer on. My garage is well sealed. Keeps the nasty moisture away. Desiccant dehumidifier as compressor ones don't work well at low temps.
