Decided to sell my Tamora, but looking on here their are 9 for sale.So i was thinking of leaving it till next spring. But then it would be in the garage for 6 months on a trickle charge only used a couple of times.
Would it do the car any harm sitting around for 6 months or would it be better putting it up for sale now at a reasonable price.
I'm after a Griff.
Cheers Mart

Why don't you put it up for sale now, and ask if people would won't a swap, and no harm would come of the car if left for 6 months

Out of interest, why would you want to go from a T350 to a Griff?

Unfortunately my TVRs have sat around just like you describe most of the time.
It really doesn't kill them. So don't let that force you to sell at an unfavourable time.

I think the Tamora is a great car,the best handling tvr I've owned. But I've always wanted a Griff.I nearly bought one last year but fancied trying a Tamora first .

The Griff will be like going back to a horse and cart wink

I would be interested to hear what you think of the Griff coming from a Tam, most people swap the other way. For the record I have a Griff, I don't think you can beat that V8 sound or the epic torque from the 500 version but the handling of the Tam will be difficult to trade.

Hi,

I have to say that my path was opposite to yours, being that I had the JOY of owning Griffiths (4.3 & 5.0) but I yearned for a Tamora, after having read all the reviews. The Tamora's appeal to me, was it's modern styling and GO KART type handling which was totally different to the Griff.

I only kept the Tamora for a few months, due to the fact that I missed the sheer grunt of the Griffs V8, plus the Griff felt so much more luxurious (that's from a 60 year olde's point of view).

If you have an itch to buy a Griff, then make sure you scratch it before the prices go sky high.

yes - in a couple of years the very 1st ones (4.0,4.3) may start disappearing off to the USA.

After an amazing 60 mile run up to my caravan yesterday, ive decided to keep the Tam.Sunshine, roof down, the sound of the jp exhaust, its a keeper.Another plus, the wife wont go in it,she says it scares hersmile
So its off to TrackvRoad in a couple of weeks for ajustable suspension, powder coated cam cover, silicone hoses and a bit alloy polishing hear and there.

Great news, we have been having some perfect tvr weather recently! You have made the right choice :-) Also over winter remind yourself how great they are on those crisp dry winter days by going out for a good blast!
