Does anyone know if the boot lid hinges for a Tamora are the same as the ones used in a Tuscan ?

They look similar if not the same, but I was wondering if they are interchangeable?

Thanks
Allan

Escort cabriolet boot hinges for the tam. I have a used pair ( they are blue so you might want to strip & paint them) you can have for £30. New ones are about £50 each from TVR places When I looked at the other year. I only used them when I sent mine away to be chromed which took a couple of weeks but it ment I could keep using the car. I can stick you a pic up tonight

Shep,

Out of interest how much did it cost you to get them chromed? Been meaning to do it for a while.

Cheers,

Another Q from me to shep. Who did your chroming. A local guy to me didn't want to do them. Are you happy with the result? Is it holding up?

Cheers.

It cost me £300 to get all the components for the boot & bonnet hinges done + the strikers & the rod/ball joints for the bonnet stay. Ashford chroming did the work and its holding up really well apart from the plates that attach to the boot lid. All the bits I had done were new apart from the hinges for the boot lid that were stropped before chroming.

Cheers. Will contact them. Just going to have the hinges done as the other bits have been triple passivated.
