Water temp sensor position

Anyone able to post a pic of where it is? I know it's at the back of the engine. I want to disconnect mine to see if the fans and wiring are ok.

The SpeedSix has two water temp sensors, one for the MBE ECU and one for the Dash ECU. Both are under the throttle bodies, where the MBE ECU one is the left one with the 'proper plug' and this one will drive (indirect) the fans.

What I don't know: Is the theory, that the fans will start after disconnection of the sensor, true ? I couldn't verify this behaviour on my Sagaris.

Here you can see them, the left one over the ignition coil, the Dash sensor behind the alternator.
