Changed the bulb in one of the rear number plate lights and the clear plastic housing is broken. Just held together with the rubber seal that sits round it. It was only held in with one screw, when I've tried the remaining screw in the other side it doesn't appear to screw in to anything.

Two questions, where do I get a replacement light housing and missing screw? Should there be some kind of captured nut the other side of the fibre glass that the screw screws it to? If not is there a clever fix or just a need for bigger screws?

Replacement from TVR parts:http://tvr-parts.com/tvr-parts/part-details/tvr-m0764/lamp-number-plate

I suspect it's just screwed into the fibreglass, if the holes to large I would use a small Rawlplug or something similar rather than a larger screw.

Or go to your nearest BMW dealer: It is the light from an E30 or many other older Bimmers.

Thanks both, part ordered and can close the old hole with resin for the replacement self tapping screws. Should all be here for the weekend!
