I don,t know the car but as you say it has a massive spec as you know I have a 4.5 it is fantastic, plus the one at trachvroad has syvecs IMHO its a bargain with all the work that has been done to it, if you go and have a look let us know how you get on, you will love the test drive wink

Hi Gary, yes it's a very 'particular car' if that makes sense. I know a lot of people who have TVR's aren't pistonheaders but I thought people on here would know of it. Someones spent a fortune on it.

It could be worth either trying to get hold of ShiDevil (Steve) if the PH email system is working now, I know he did have some form of group set up for T350s so may be able to help.

The 4.5 and Syvexs may be the issue. Dom has (reasonably) said that he can't warranty his work with third party products, IIRC.
Personally I think it'd be a great combo...

Hi Don1

Advert does not say it will come with Doms guarantee on the engine but it does say comes with I year warranty by trackvroad, Doms warranty is for 5 years and would be out by 2017 anyway and let's face it if Dom guarantees the engine for 100,000 miles it is not going to blow up with a different ECU and if it did back to tracvroad 😉

It is/was owned by rcvaughan on the VX220 forum. I don't know much more about it but there's a thread that provides alittle more info about some of the work he had done: http://www.vx220.org.uk/forums/topic/112986-tvr-t3...

Thanks for all the replies. I think I was getting a bit desperate, as I'd promised myself that after a bad experience with a heavily modified car I wouldn't buy another. So I've given myself a good talking to biggrin and decided it's not the car for me.

Desperate for what ? smile

Why do you say it's not the car for you as it has been built with some fantastic upgrades and that engine is superb plus you can buy a 2 year warranty from Dom at Powers for £750 if your that worried

Are you on the hunt for a T350

Desperate was probably the wrong word. I meant that I'd been looking for ages so considered looking at that car when it was something I wouldn't normally consider.
It's not the engine that puts me off

No James I didn't buy it, didn't even enquire about it.

It was the aftermarket ecu that I wasn't keen on. Like I said I had a nightmare with a previous car with an aftermarket ecu.I'm not disputing the quality of the product but the installation and mapping left a lot to be desired.
Just for clarity none of the companies who will have been involved with this T350 had anything to do with my car.

Think Gacksen has beaten me to it. Don't think the words nice, cheap and TVR go together. Although cheap is relative, I still think TVRs are cracking value.

C’mon Ray Von! You’re a proper petrolhead; and you SHOULD be in a nice TVR, or something equally exciting, by now. Get something bought and I’ll see you on the TVRCC Cobweb Run!

Hi. I know a fair amount about the car, have checked it over at TvR and it looked great tbh. TrackVRoad are very trustworthy. Yes the engine didn't have a warranty given Syvecs, but it's as solid as a rock given the pedigree of Doms work and given warranty is 2017, does it matter? Syvecs is hardly aftermarket with many on here with it and some having fitted it themselves.

It was a car to be bought smile
