T350 seat question

Odd question but here goes. Is it normal that the passenger seat back does not recline as far as the driver seat? The mechanism on my passenger seat only allows the back to recline just beyond vertical but the driver seat reclines much further back (it is the mechanism that reaches a stop - not the seat back hitting anything).
I will be getting the car re-trimmed so (if possible) I want to get this fixed first.
