Morning All,

Just tried to start the Tam for the first time in a couple of months.

All the electrics are working, dash lights come on and fuel pump starts, but when I turn the key the last part of the way to fire her up, nothing happens?

There's no red led flashing on the immobiliser pad on the right hand side of the steering wheel. Immobiliser issue?

Any suggestions gratefully received.

Sam

Connection sounds likely.

I had a problem with mine where it would start ok when cold, but when hot starting I got nothing at all.

A broken coil in the starter was suspected. Changing the motor to an upgraded one from Power fixed this, as well as making it turn over much quicker than before.

I would still drop the power off to the alarm and check that first, it is quick & easy to do. Pull the 2 fuses for a minute & put them back in.

I always thought that whirr was from the power steering pump priming not the fuel pump which is in the tank in the boot.
