Power Performance strut brace...

Anyone fitted one of these http://www.powersperformance.co.uk/store/slug/chas...
If so, any noticeable difference over the standard transmission plate?

Excuse the poor quality photo but here is a little something I made, and yes it does make a difference. If you take the standard trays off you will see they often spring out of shape and will show signs of fretting around the bolt holes. The TVR chassis is essentially a channel between the front and rear suspension pick ups, it is fabricated from ERW with the bottom rails being rectangular, they twist quite easily compared to round tube and given that the only bracing is on the sides and over the top the whole thing twists as it is a three sided shape. After fitting these the car didn't creak as much and feels a whole lot stiffer, it is now a four sided shape. I drilled close tolerance holes and used thicker material on the tabs, the anti roll bar straps are made from mild steel the tubes are all ERW the "three hole ears" are just to use a bolt hole up either side...
Next mod is to add weld on bushes to the chassis and increase the amount and size of bracing, next year..
