Intrigued about the bonnet arrangement. Was that a latter OEM bonnet or a mod you have done?

Mod I would say. Never seen a OEM 1 piece bonnet except on the prototype Sag2

Handmade by the plasticman! It is a mod from 2014, I think (but do not know for sure) David, the plasticman, uses the original factory mould for it. The Mk II bonnet opens into the other direction. This fits perfect and is very handy for everyday use.
David did several mods on this bodyshell, all very well done.

Looks to be very clean sure you will be able to get a great price. I saw that a recent private sale went for £70k if the selling price is to be believed. Out of interest, what tyres are good on Sags?
£62.5k

Mine was done the other way out of CF, but yes, single piece, strut bonnet much easier than the standard OEM one

Not quite sure why there are so few for sale at the moment?

How is the market for other collectable cars?

Still climbing. 996 Turbo (last Metzger engine) are now climbing north again, 993 Turbos are over £100k and they aren't even the halo models.

It will be interesting to see what happens in the Brexit economy, as it will impact globally.

Don't you have to be a very strange fish to spend 60k+ on an RS Escort other than as a speculative collector?

Just saying..

The you may not have any idea about passion for cars? We're all different don't forget.

But, I'd also say, there is a rawness that is shared by a TVR and an old Fast Ford, the same experience when compared against a modern car.

I have a Mk2 Cortina Savage, and that is a complete hoot to drive smile

And, sorry, that wasn't meant to be offensive in anyway.
