Tyre recommendations for SP12 alloys please.
18 X 9 rears
18 X 8 fronts.

General feeling I get is 225 35 18 front.
255 35 18 rear.

Any experience, preference for sizes and makes.

Hi,

got my Tam last year with Toyo R1R on 18' SP 12 rims. 8' front, 9' rear. Sizes: F 225-40/18 R 255-35/18.
I cannot imagine any better tyre for sporty road use in the dry - really sticky - and it's better in wet conditions than rumors tell.
They are only available with speed index 'W' and for this sadly illegal over here in Germany where you need a 'Y' indexed tyre.
I changed to 17' SP 12 rims this year and put Dunlop Sportmaxx RT on them which I'm happy with as well. As the 255 tyres rubbed the inner arches seriously I decided to change to slightly different rim offsets F and R when purchasing the 17' ones and took following tyre sizes: F 225-45/17, R 245-45/17. This conversion and a slightly softened suspension adjustment has made my Tam flying, not sliding, even on poor b-road surfaces.

Can't comment on size, but I run Federal 595rsr on my Griff and they have been fantastic Road and track alike.
Plus massively cheaper than the 888.
