Couple of weeks into Tam ownership and I've got 14 and 21 error codes. Tried searching for 2 digit numeric codes for the Speed 6 engine but not having much luck...any suggestions? On the last run the analogue speedo packed up but I still get the digital readout. Electric mirrors didn't work when I bought the car, thought I'd start with fuse checking but can't figure which they are from the manual, do they go through the door ecu's? Sorry for all the questions but could do with a few pointers.

Look in your TVR service book that you got with the car . All the codes are listed in there.

14 is (RH) 'drivers door open' warning, 15 is for the (LH) passenger door. Check the micro switch in the door behind the silver plate. You should get this warning when you open either of the doors with the car running. Error 21 is high fuel pressure, never seen this code so I guess its one you shouldn't be seeing.

Mirror ECU fuse is the 10th fuse down (10A) from the top of the fuse box (the end where the rows of fuses meet)

Analogue speedo issue will likely be the speedo sensor on the diff. It might just need cleaning or re-adjusting or it could be knackered! If you are really unlucky it could be the motor on the clock pack but so long as it sweeps up/down on start-up like the rev counter I would not think its the needle drive motor.

Error codes are not in the manual but the fuse box layout is. Send me a message with your email on and I will scan you a copy of the code sheet & a fuse box layout in case it is missing from your handbook.

Should have added that you can check if the door switches are working as they should as the door glass drops/raises 5-10mm each time you open the doors. The alarm will also beep in sync with the indicator flashes if you arm the car with the doors (or boot) open
