Morning PHer's,

I was extremely disappointed last night to find my post had been removed for apparently contravening forum rules, so I'm posting again under a new heading in the hope this one will remain.

I was mearly asking if anyone was considering selling up to Pm me please, not to sure how that is breaking rules but there you go, iIl keep searching and browsing the ads in the mean time, might even try and get to one of my local tvr meets, see if anyone knows of any good cars about.

I'm based in Essex and use to be an active member of the tvr car club also.

Thanks again

PS sorry for breaking the rules

Thanks Big Al,

Hi Sportscarlover,

I'm not sure if i should be honered or freaked that you have chosen to reply to me on your first post here at PH, lol, anyway welcome to the forum!
I am intrigued to know where we may have met, please let me know, and yes would be grateful for a lead.

Hi Tvrsag,

I would like a low Miles (up to 20/25k is fine), preferably a Camelian orange/red, but would be consider all, had Tuscan red rose previously in GTS viper blue with blue hide, loved it.

Thanks for the responses.

I wouldn't get too hung up on miles, TBH. Condition, and what engine work has been done, is way more important.

If there was a choice between a low mileage car on its original engine that has never been fettled or a higher mileage car with a modern evolution of the engine, whether that is TVR Power's big bore route or Racing Green's FFF2 head route, I know which I would choose.

Try giving a few of the independent tvr garages a bell, they always know if any might be coming up for sale privately, I've seen a couple of higher mileage ones from doing this, they are also considerably cheaper.

Legacy, what colour is yours? Its not the Titanium low-miler that has just gone up for sale?

An infuriating car... been hunting for a good grey one for months/years, and a week after I commit to an altogether different car, the bugger pops up! I give up!

Mines Red Glow Pearl (?) black Sagaris seats, with red inserts.

Silver, and grey cars, seem to be thin on the ground?

you will once you've got one... that's what happens in the Porsche forums:

"awful cars, going to plummet in value"
.... 2 weeks later "just bought one, love it, these are so undervalued"

laugh

When I bought 4 years ago, there were agents from the Far East over here trying to buy up cars, how are the exchange rates looking?

I fear another thread deviation to "how much is a sagaris worth" or "will they hit £XXXXX?" - always find the conversations enjoyable especially when the old chestnut "they are worth what someone is willing to pay" pops up!!

Can't resit it - a good 'un will be £80k this time next year biggringetmecoat
