T350 Lights gone out!
Discussion
Hello
Just been out in the T350.. in the dark for the first time ……
(I did drive it back when I collected her two weeks ago some of the way in the dark, all ok)
Driving along and the head lights suddenly went out, side lights OK, rear lights Ok.
Main beam works when you pull towards you but doesn’t lock on.
Pulled on drive way and head lights came on for a few seconds and then went out again………. Any one any idea’s or pointers where to start looking?
Many thanks

Was the car hot when they went out?
On my Tamora this happens after the car has been run for a while & then sits - I've had it fixed once, but it's come back again recently - in my case the issue is the RAS unit that sits on top of the transmission tunnel, under the cover, forward of the gear lever - the heat soak apparently causes an issue in the box, but once cooled down again the lights are fine.

Bit more info
Last night when the dipped beam lights didn’t work the full beam wouldn’t click on, if you pulled it the main beam came on but it wouldn’t lock.
Just had a look and lights working fine now,
If the dipped beam lights aren’t on then the full beam won’t lock on,
I have pulled the dip beam relay and switched the lights on and main beam locks ok, so it’s not the relay.
There has to be a module that tells the “switch on the steering column” the dipped beam lights are on, and I think it’s this module that may be faulty.

Same problem I experienced last autumn and still no solution. With only a handful of TVRs here in Norway there are no specialists to turn to but being an average home mechanic I thought I could sort it out. I have done the same, checked fuses, ribbon cable behind the lcd, switched the relays and the headlamp connections but still nothing. I also see that the fog lamp switch does not change led when turned but the light switch do..
Solution now seems to get a car electrician to have a look. At £70 pr hour and probably a few hours just to do research and familiarise with TVR it will be alot of £££££
