How many Sags with factory fitted DAB ?

My Sag was customer spec'd with DAB system and has roof mounted DAB aerial. Just wondered how many more are out there, because I've not seen others with a roof aerial . My factory DAB is no longer original since it was an old dated head unit and the DAB unit was a separate unit hidden in the dash.
I've kept the old unit just in case .

My Cerb had factory fitted DAB with the bee sting ariel. But not my Sag. Cant say I am that bothered, could only get Radio 1 in the Cerb on DAB!

Mine did as well, but long since stripped it out to replace it

Neither of the Sag's I've owned had DAB, but the Alpine units were pretty good. Now upgraded for USB/Bluetooth etc. etc. but use the original unit is in my Griff.

Mine has DAB radio but I always have the volume down and prefer to listen to the engine!

Are you sure that's a DAB antenna ?

I've got one on mine and could only find a single output at the headend which was the FM connection. The Alpine unit that was in the car wasn't DAB but I fancied one so I changed the head end and installed a second DAB only antenna into the glovebox which works quite well.





Was there a separate DAB / FM combiner located somewhere that I couldn't find ?

Well I found it, well I say found it - I found where it should be as the cables are there but the unit is gone.

Ah well at least I've found where the end of the dab antenna runs to - there must be a combiner somewhere as the FM feed is good from the same antenna; regardless I'll still run the DAB cable from that antenna to the head unit and see if the reception is better than my horizontally mounted one that's in behind the dash.
