Tamora air box
Discussion
Holes are TVR "fix" to stop hydraulic lock if you drive through deep water and the air intake draws up water with a vacuum in the airbox. Also change the pop rivets on the catches for lock tighted nuts and bolts . Pop rivet ends have been known to break off and sucked into the engine...so I am told.

This. My ACT box came with nuts & bolts not rivets. To be extra cautious I smeared some silicone seal on them too.GazzaM100 said:
What do you think of the carbon ACT because I spoke to them and apparently it's not a gloss finish as they make carbon products for motorsport not show but will look into providing a more attractive finish
They did do a lacquered finish, mine was finished that way - not sure if you can still get it though. A bit of carbon porn to liven up the thread!!Gassing Station | Tamora, T350 & Sagaris | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
