What is it your looking to get from doing this. I've used hollowed out cats, sounded rubbish and made not a lot else difference.
Then bought Clive's hiflow decats. The sound is awesome and the throttle response improves. It's not free and seems pricey but there is simply no comparison. The only way you'd better it is having some merged collector manifolds made and getting rid of that ridiculous void the exhaust gas tumbles into with the standard manifold/cat arrangement.

Echo the above, there's no getting away from the cost, but Clive's decats are a work of art, to good to hide away Then bought Clive's hiflow decats.
