Hi guys, I'm picking up my new Tamora on Saturday, which although has a load of tread on the tyres, I'm concerned that they are a good few years old.
I'll be replacing them for peace of mind, so would like to start looking now.

Are the Goodyear eagles all good, that are currently on it?
What are the standard sizes on the spiders?

Thanks guys.

Matt check the date of production of the tyre. It'll be on the side wall it say for example 0814 which means week 8 of 2014. That will give you an indication of how old it is...

I have Goodyears all round on mine, I replaced Toyos and have found them a decent replacement. Some people when they change go to 40 profile on the front & go wider on the rear. I think either 255 or 265 is as wide as you can go before they rub. There is a couple of load index rating options too for the rears on the Goodyears 94 & 98 I think both are greater than what you need for the TVR.

235/40/18 on the rear and 225/35/18 are the std tyre sizes.
