A while back there was a discussion on retro fit heated seat kits but I can't find it. Has anyone fitted them ? I think Alex Gray might have been . Any help or guidance would be much appriciated.

Cheers,

Buzz.

What do you need to know?
Do you have problems with the physical fitting of the elements into the seats or is it the wiring that you find complicated?

The kits are very easy to fit, you need a switched live from the ignition to the kits relay. Then an earth connection to nearby metal work. The elements require partial removal of seat covering. One thing to look at when buying a kit is you need the seat/bottom element to have a cutout to allow the seat cover stitching pull down to fit within the gap overwise the original seat cover may not pull down and fit properly

Seat elements will be the same it's the wiring and switches that give a variable or switched heat limit. Go on eBay and search for retro fit heated seats. If you don't like the supplied switches just buy a set you do like and fit those instead wink
