Hello all ,

Just a bit of advice , noticed wipers were not working initially thought but it was the fuse but could hear the motor. Then noticed the above. Managed to place the brown piece back into the pipe but in full rotation it just slipped out again. Any suggestions on making it fit sung and not slip out after 1 turn.

Many thanks

Suggest glue it in eg using Araldite.

Alternatively fit a new plastic end. I bought some new ends some time ago but do not recall who from - might have been TVR Parts.

Me thinks if you call them they will help. They made them in the first place, looks like they still use the plastic widget. Plan B is squash the tube a touch to increase the grip/friction although proceed with caution and insert the widget first

I kept having this problem, in the end I drilled the rod and plastic plug and fitted small split pins.

AS above, I drilled through and put a pin through it. No problem since.

As Sagi suggests, call "Matador", the whole 'arm ass'y' and socket joints are available from TVR Parts.

I called Matador 2 yrs ago to get the 'snap-ring' that retains the wiper splined spindle in the fixed bushing. Spoke to a really helpful guy who sent a couple out in a jiffy bag and received 2 days later...all FOC.
