Thanks, Richard. Wheer are you based - the TMS demo car will be with them soon, Barnet have got theirs, so too, Harrogate - are you near any of them? There were about 20 Tamora bodyshells in the factory when I was there on Friday, and another couple in moulds, so production is really gearing up.

Tell you what, Apache, I don't know who specced up TMS's Tamora, but black seats with yellow inserts? Ooer, missus!!

Also, whilst driving it yesterday, I got 2750 revs or so, glanced at the speedo and it was 75mph! It honestly felt like about 30mph, it was so effortless, wonderful. Take your cheque book with you to TMS, mate, I think you'll be using it!

Can I just say that I spec'd the Tamora with the yellow seat inserts - Well you only live once don't you. It looks the dogs dangly bits.

I took it to the TVR Car Club - East Midlands on Sunday after getting it on Saturday afternoon - it has 450 miles on it as of tonight!

James, you're a brave man, I admire your audacity! I suppose it's easier if you're not buying one! Why didn't you go for the lamonta on the seats etc. ps. no offence meant by my previous comments!

I am buying a ladder instead!

Well, I have not managed to convinced my good lady wife that spending £40k was a great thing to do . My usually sharp rationale was of no help here.... Instead I paid a visit to Adrian Blyth last week and saw a gorgeous Chimeara 4.5l in Antigua Blue. The test drive is booked for Saturday and the deposit is already in the bank OK I'll have to wait before I can enjoy the latest TVR monster but surely that's MUCH better than nothing. In fact I am now losing sleep on my new Chimeara. Watch out for more silly questions coming up...

Cheers everyone !

went to view one yesterday, have to say I love the front, it looks quite awesome.. Not too sure about the back, though it looks far better in the flesh than in piccies... Can't seem to convince the missus that we need one tho.....

James, too late! My car is inching it's way down the production line already. One is plenty for me! Still, I suppose a black and yellow car will really give it's new owner a buzz...

James, why not ask your Tamora customers to get on this site, to pass on their comments re the Tamora ownership experience. Let's have some feedback to silence the critics!!

Styling is subjective - I quite like it apart from it seems too soft for what it really is. Just drove a 2006 version (one of last ones) for a weekend and had to say - great power, very solid suspension and direct handling BUT the steering feedback was almost nonexistent in my opinion - felt like a computer game - compared to a boxster not to mention an old 911 or any MR2 steering feel. Oh well, wont be buying one in the future... but I guess I am mid-engined cars fan anyway.
