Damn you eyes, flasher! That's my number! With my insider knowledge of roof panel flightiness, I was in for first prize....

So, yours did it as well, Andy? Did you get a fix of any sort?

Morning Nubbin!

I never did find a fix for it except to have a play with the way you put the targa panel back in. I managed 160 in France last year without it moving but on other occasions a gap formed at 130.

BTW, like the exhaust, it looks a bit low though....does it catch on the bumps?

Morning, Andy - I've slightly grounded the exhaust once, but they've swept it up a bit, so it's got reasonable clearance. i'm looking forward to getting the finishing panel on, to make it look neater. I think it may been track days are out of the question, unless I stuff wire wool/stainless steel pan scrubbers in the exhaust!

Matt's right - there's always a diversion at some point - just tell everyone to get back on topic!!

Anyway, what's wrong with discussing my tailpipes?!

Boxster-push me pull me wagon of mass destruction!!! Nearly as bad as a TT Boxsters - I have a dislike of them despite driving a 996 targa at the mo! My wife reversed a boxsta into a wall a the local waitrose and did loads of damage to the car- it was on loan while mine was being serviced whoooops! You should have seen the service managers face!!

Obviously your expertise in this area puts me to shame - what do I do next? No point cutting my roof up so I can pretend I've got the best of both worlds - Perhaps a Supra engine in an MR2 T-bar would have the same effect. Whaddya think?

When's yer car ready, T350t? Summer's nearly over....
