That EVO Tamora sounds awesome - certainly nothing like standard though, or any after-market exhaust I've heard - I wonder exactly what spec of car TVR gave EVO for that test ....
certainly there's evidence for a 'press' engine but how much different can it be? The most likely thing is it's a decatted red rose 3.6 with very naughty pipework. But I suppose it could be a 4.0S - it certainly looks very quick and powerful but it sounds higher revving than that. My moneys on the 3.6RR and the film is a compelling case for getting one desilenced!
Just thought I'd bump this old thread, as the Tam video link is still live, and gives a good reminder why so many of us come back for seconds/thirds, when realising that selling in the first place was a really dumb idea.

It was concluded that the EVO Tamora dvd was enhanced audio wise, i believe.
It`s the same car that Autocar road tested (on 18" spiders)
0-30 1.9s
0-60 4.2s
0-100 9.1s
0-147 22.2s (standing KM)
30-70 in a stonking 3.2s, thats as quick as most things on the road, even today,
not bad for the "baby" "girlie" ugly duckling entry model Eh?
If we are posting Vids, here is mine doing a standing granny start, with Power/RG sports exhaust

I think the 4.3's and other great upgrades have/are helping our TVR's do more than just 'keeping up', too
Our Tamora has Power super sports exhausts. Heath from X-Works brought her back to the house yesterday evening after having the MOT done - I was waiting downstairs and the better half upstairs. She shouted to me 'Heath's arrived!'. I looked out of the front door - nothing. However, I opened the door and heard thunder. Ten seconds later, the Tamora comes around the corner, practically just at idling speed, but the sound is just fabulous and pretty loud.
She's even better on the overrun with the pops and bangs (that's the Tamora, not the better half )
Although I love the V8 sound, the Speed Six sound can also be awesome.

Tam beating Cerb and Tuscan!
I attribute that video to be the clincher that sold the Tamora, rather than a Tuscan to me 5 or so years ago when I got mine. If you stick decats & Racing Green super-sport cans on the car it will sound like the Tam video And I'll add this one, too:

..And I attribute looking at pics of what you have had done to your fantastic car to how I want mine to be! (apart from the de-cats..).It's like I have been given a second chance - all the stuff I wanted to do to my first Tam (which I had to sell), I am able to do now, and it feels great! Looking at these vids again after all this time (couldn't bare to watch after I sold..) is fantastic!
