I remember, following the sad demise of the Sean Connery Joke thread, that someone suggested having a forum just for jokes.

Thanks Ted, for the T350 forum.

eh?

Anyway I think our very own PistonHeads National Security Advisor ( & ) has just 'trotter-ed' off somewhere

I shouldn't laugh, what's the betting I'll mysteriously lose my licence by the end of the month? (it's currently clean)

I am not opening old wounds, wanting any flack or providing any theories...

Please take these in the manner with which they are provided - as pictures of an unpainted T350 shell with holes for targa panels as seen at the factory this morning...

..oh and by the way, this is a picture of (soon to be) my T350C after painting...

PS. If you cant see all these pictures (I cleared my browser cache and can only see two of them!!) then go to www.fotango.com/cgi-bin/public_gallery_item.cgi?id=285701&index=0&key= (fotango.com - public gallery - transport - automobiles - T350T Prototype.

Enjoy.

Excellent, two grand for a couple of small sunroofs...

I must admit I thought the targa panels would be much bigger than that....

Mmmm, what does everyone else think?

Doesnt seem to suit the shape of the car tbh. Are they going to be colour coded panels or glass for the full pope mobile effect??

IMHO I think I would prefer a T350, the fact that you have to pay £2k for these holes makes the decision even easier.

Now then TVR, wheres that T350Convertable?? - with full rollcage visible (covered in leather of course) Tuscan Racer style.

I'm not sure I like the look of that, seems a little pointless to me I wonder if it will look any better finished.

Disappointing - hardly worth their while, really.

Are you sure that's not just where they cut out the sunvisors?

I don't want to be negative here, but I was really looking forward to seeing quite a big removeable panel. This seems to be very small and hardly worth it.
The roof is pretty small anyway so it's basically two small sunroofs....

Oh what a shame. It really looks a bit disappointing.
I hope it looks better when its finished for the sake of all our friends who have got one on order.

Must admit I love the T350C and its getting better with every mile! Still had no time to take any pics so this will have to do (including high rear ride-height. It had just come off the ramp)

Have to agree with all the other comments. Seems to me that TVR announced something at the motorshow before they had even thought about how to implement it.

The system on the 911 would be a good implementation to work from as it gives the appearance of glass front to back.

Hey, Nicksey, I quite often have this problem where I get a red cross in a box instead of the picture.

1) how do I clear my browser cache for chrissakes? and
2) is there any other way of making sure I don't get this problem?

I know I am not alone in this. Mrs Fish has the same problem.

I think you're right to reserve judgement. I bet it will look much, much better in a finished car, rather than just a raw shell.

So, the car is actually a reality then after all
Looking forward more and more now to taking delivery later in the year.It looks fine to me, and am sure the finished item will be as stunning as all the other cars in the range.
You pays your money and you takes your choice, and seeing the continuing developments on the C, last Sunday at Silverstone, all looks well, and glad I have waited.
What do you others think of it who have a T on order? lets get some more positive vibes going on here for god sake. Its a New TVR after all
